Michael Dardick of Granite Properties is the new NAIOP president. Jay Fitzgibbons of JSC Realty is president-elect while Walter Sprunt of Greenbriar Associates will be serving as secretary-treasurer.

NAIOP will officially kick off year 2001 at its annual breakfast meeting set for Feb. 1. Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk is the keynote speaker for the session at the Galleria's Westin along Interstate 635. This year, Dardick and his team are planning a series of programs aimed at heightening the chapter's profile in the community. Dardick has replaced Mike LaFitte of Trammell Crow Co., who is now sitting on the presidents council.

The 2001 board also includes Bill Vanderstraaten of CarrAmerica as program chairman and Steve Bronner of Sarofim Realty Advisors, program vice chairman; Tom Kuhlmann of Lincoln Property Co., membership chairman, and Bob Stone of Guaranty Bank, membership vice chairman; Tom Leiser of Trammell Crow Co., legislative chairman, and Steve Sallman of the Warner Group, legislative vice chairman; David Evemy of Sarofim Realty as public relations chairman, and Bill Flaherty of Hillwood, public relations vice chairman.

The program committee consists of Scott Dennis of Invesco Realty Advisors, Alan Friedman of Crescent Real Estate and Jim Mertz of Workplace USA. Sitting on the presidents council are Pax Glenn of Glenn Commercial Real Estate, Bob Gray of Landon Properties, Steve Meyer of Prologis Trust, Will Mundinger of the Archon Group, Ernest Randall of Vantage Cos. and Steve Van Amburgh of Koll Development Co. and LaFitte.
