Fry's, which operates a dozen electronics stores in California, could provide the city up to three-quarters of a million dollars in sales tax revenue annually, according to city documents.
The store will sit on 19 acres just off the highway at the southwest corner of Linda Vista Drive and Bent Avenue. South Coast Development plans to begin grading next month, and the store will open by the end of the year.
The chain, founded in 1985 by three brothers, also operates a store inMission Valley.
