The hotel underwent a $30 million renovation program from 1996-1998 and plans are now being finalized for a $10 million, three-year "product improvement" to begin later this year, Westin officials report.

The hotel's 609 rooms, including 48 suites, as well as nearly 40,000 sf of meeting space and is located adjacent to the Philippine International Convention Center. The facility also features the new Westin Sports Club and Spa, which offers a variety of spa and exercise options, in addition to the putting green, driving range and championship tennis courts. The Westin Philippine Plaza also has four restaurants and five lounges.
