Commenting on the move, Kent W. Swig, co-chairman of the firm, noted that Workman's duties will include expanding the operations of the division he will lead as well as assisting in the evaluation of acquisitions by the company. Workman has been active in the Young Men and Women's Real Estate Association and the New York University's Real Estate School of Continuing Education.
Established in 1873, Brown Harris has seven operating divisions that serve New York City's residential and commercial markets.
