Mark New of New & Neville, who with partner Steve Neville brokered both sides of the transaction, tells GlobeSt the Harsch Investment is planning to expand the center by around 20,000 sf, and has proposals for the space from several prospective tenants.

Located at Southwest Durham Road and Oregon 99W, the shopping center has more than two dozen tenants. Anchor tenants include Albertson's, Rite Aid and Marshall's. Other traffic draws include Starbucks, Blockbuster and McDonald's.

Tigard Towne Square is reportedly the fourth retail complex Harsch has purchased in the past 18 months. The company has an aggregate of 14 million sf of retail property in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Sacramento and Las Vegas.
