The buyer is 1411 S. Goliad Ltd., an entity of DDH Properties Inc., which has as it general partner, Darrell Hurmis, the Henry S. Miller Land Division broker who handled the deal. The property at 1411 S. Goliad in Rockwall fronts Texas 205, which is to be widened in the next four to five years to a six-lane divided highway. Hurmis, a DDH general partner, told GlobeSt.com that he is planning down the road to develop a retail project on the site.
The seller, GA Design, holds a five-year lease for the building. Dave Valdez, also of Henry S. Miller Land Division, helped seal the deal in Rockwall, situated 27 miles northeast of Dallas.
"We're currently looking for other opportunities throughout the metroplex," says Hurmis.
Across the metroplex in Southlake, Henry S. Miller Commercial senior vice president Jim Turano has signed a tenant for 1601 Hart. Fresenius Medical Care Dialysis Services of Grapevine is taking 5,940 sf to open a kidney dialysis clinic in the upscale community that's 23 miles northwest of Dallas.
