Applied Micro, which designs, develops, manufactures and markets high-bandwidth silicon solutions for the world's optical networks, will move its marketing department to the new space from its nearby corporate headquarters.
The 78,000-sf office and R&D building, located in the heart of San Diego's "telecom valley," is fully occupied. Thermoscan, a division ofGillette Inc., occupies the remaining space.
Buck Ramsey and Steve Rosetta, directors in the San Diego office of Cushman & Wakefield, represented both parties in the transaction.
