The apartment complex is a Lincoln Properties' development and owned by Gates of McLean, LLC. "USOL has had target markets in the Washington D.C. area for some time," a company source told GlobeSt.com. The source says the 10-year contract with Gates at McLean has been in place since 1997.

The company offers service through its subsidiary, US OnLine, which serves seven major U.S. markets - Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Denver, Houston, Portland, San Antonio and the Washington, D.C. area. USOL Holdings currently has contracts secured with 100 apartment communities, 80% of which are in large Texas markets.

USOL Holdings provides integrated telecommunications and entertainment services to the residential real estate industry through subsidiary US OnLine. The subsidiary provides local and long-distance telephone, cable television and high-speed Internet access to residents of multifamily developments.
