Lend Lease reportedly was not satisfied with the offers it received, but James Elcock, senior vice president at Meredith & Grew Inc., which is handling the property, says he has no comment. Mary Beth Lally, spokesperson for Lend Lease, confirms for GlobeSt.com that the company did pull the property, but adds that she cannot comment on the move. "Waltham is a strong market," was all she would say.

The market here, which saw unprecedented highs and low vacancies for the past two years, is still relatively strong but there are signs that even here things are slowing down a bit with rents that are stabilizing and space that is a little easier to come by. A number of other properties in the Route 128/495 area have reportedly been pulled off the market recently, including One Research Drive in Westborough and Reservoir Corporate Center in Southborough.
