WALTHAM, MA-In what could possibly portend the future of the commercial real estate market here, Lend Lease Real Estate Investments Inc. pulled its 114,000 sf office building off the market. The six-story building, at 400 Fifth Ave. was on the market for three months.

Lend Lease reportedly was not satisfied with the offers it received, but James Elcock, senior vice president at Meredith & Grew Inc., which is handling the property, says he has no comment. Mary Beth Lally, spokesperson for Lend Lease, confirms for GlobeSt.com that the company did pull the property, but adds that she cannot comment on the move. “Waltham is a strong market,” was all she would say.
