"We expect to hire between 12 and 18 employees in Austin by the end of the year, so we are looking for a space to accommodate that," the Stellcom source says. The employees to be hired will include business development managers, engineering and support staff.
Stellcom recently has secured $50 million in a second round of funding that has been led by Frontenac Co. The company will use the capital to grow the Austin office and expand with regional technology centers.
Stellcom Inc. is a wireless systems integration firm that provides mobile workforce solutions. Stellcom helps transform and enhance enterprise infrastructures, build Internet-based platforms and engineer wireless solutions to manage mobile access to information. The 16-year-old company has approximately 500 employees in seven US offices.
