As trustee of Carter-Howland Boulevard Land Trust, Carter purchased 11.33 acres from Bernard and Mary Caplan for $353,116 or $31,166 per acre (72 cents per sf). The property is on Catalina Boulevard, just south of Howland Boulevard in Deltona, FL, 35 miles north of Downtown Orlando. Also on Howland Boulevard, Carter bought a 25.2-acre parcel for $1.26 million or $50,520 per acre ($1.16 per sf).

In the building acquisition, Carter paid Robert L. Harding, trustee, $609,000 or $97.90 per sf for a 6,220-sf medical office building on .73 acres at 3872 Oakwater Circle, Orlando. Carter acted as trustee of Oakwater Land Trust in this transaction. Jeff Bloom of Arvida Realty Services Inc. negotiated for the seller. Carter represented himself.
