OLATHE, KN-The school district athletic field will be built at Lone Elm Road and College Boulevard after city officials weighed in with plans for commercial properties and business parks for the board's first choice.
Under the new agreement, the city of Olathe will buy more than 200 acres at Lone Elm Road and College Boulevard for the athletic facility and city park. About 80 acres will be sold to the school district.
