Jeremiah Larkin, senior vice president-director of Brookfield, represented the owner and Robert Alexander and Michael G. Geoghegan of Insignia/ESG represented the tenant. The building is a 40-story office tower with 1.6 million sf of space. It is one of the four buildings comprising the World Financial Center complex.
The new lease gives Lehman the entire eighth floor. It also includes space on floors 19 through 21 and 30 through 40. President and CEO of Brookfield Richard Clark released a written statement commenting, "We are very pleased to have Lehman Brothers as a major tenant at 1 World Financial Center."
