Linen Service Structure Converting to $11-Mil Loft Condo Project

ATLANTA-Realty Development Corp. is turning the 73,289-sf former National Linen Service plant into 60 intown condos priced from $155,000 at the Village at Freedom Parkway community.

ATLANTA-The loft craze continues as more and more people gravitate toward intown living. Loft space for housing is a hot commodity in the city. One of the latest projects is the 60-condo Freedom Lofts across the street from the Carter Presidential Center, about five miles east of the central business district.

The 73,289-sf old National Linen Service manufacturing building, built in 1954, is undergoing an $11 million conversion to loft condominiums. The project comprises 28 two-bedroom homes and 32 one-bedroom homes. The lofts are 650 sf to 1,739 sf and will cost from about $155,000 and up.
