State Street Corp. Leases More Space

QUINCY, MA-State Street Corp. expands its eight-building campus here by leasing an additional 235,000 sf of space. The company also plans to lease space in the skyscraper being built near south Station in Boston.

QUINCY, MA-State Street Corp. has leased 235,000 sf of space at 1200 Crown Colony here. The building, which is owned by Nordic Properties, was needed to accommodate the growth of the company.

The company is headquartered in Boston but its “campus,” which includes eight buildings that it owns and occupies, and 8,000 of its employees are here. According to Alyson Riley, spokesperson for State Street, the company is leasing this building because Nordic Properties is not selling it at this time.
