Kopez paid the Dale A. Sutthoff Family limited partnership $699,000 or $268,846 per acre ($6.17 per sf) for the 2.6-acre site. Frank Dever, a commercial broker at Heathrow-based Stirling International Realty Inc., handled the transaction for both sides.
As Stirling gears up for an active transaction year, company founder/owner Roger Soderstrom notes the brokerage is getting 80,000 hits a month on its three-year-old Web site, www.Stirlingrealty.com. "Based on the activity we have seen in the first half of January, we could generate more than 100,000 hits this month," Soderstrom tells GlobeSt.com.
The broker says he had anticipated Internet traffic "in the low thousands, but so far, we have exceeded our expectations by several thousand percent."
Stirling was one of the first real estate service companies in Central Florida to launch a Web site in 1997. The firm's custom-developed homes are priced from $200,000 to $1 million-plus.
