2.6-Acre Site at Heathrow International Park Goes for Pricey $6.17 per SF

HEATHROW, FL-Kopez Investments Inc., the Cary, NC operator of Little Pro Academy day care centers, plans to break ground in February on a 24,000-sf facility at Heathrow International Business Center located in an affluent community, 25 miles north of Downtown Orlando.

Kopez paid the Dale A. Sutthoff Family limited partnership $699,000 or $268,846 per acre ($6.17 per sf) for the 2.6-acre site. Frank Dever, a commercial broker at Heathrow-based Stirling International Realty Inc., handled the transaction for both sides.

As Stirling gears up for an active transaction year, company founder/owner Roger Soderstrom notes the brokerage is getting 80,000 hits a month on its three-year-old Web site, www.Stirlingrealty.com. “Based on the activity we have seen in the first half of January, we could generate more than 100,000 hits this month,” Soderstrom tells GlobeSt.com.
