AUSTIN-California-based drkoop.com is closing its Austin offices at Plaza 7000 in Austin. The company occupies 35,000 sf of the building at 7000 N. Mopac, says Jeff Henley, a broker with The Kucera Co., the leasing agent for the owner of Plaza 7000.

Henley told GlobeSt.com that drkoop.com had occupied up to 80,000 sf of the building at one time. The office had opened in October 1999. Drkoop.com has since sublet 45,000 sf.Drkoop.com will continue to operate out of its Santa Monica, CA headquarters and will move a portion of its sales and business development staff to offices at 5 Great Valley Pkwy. in Malvern, PA in suburban Philadelphia.
