The first building is 61% leased and will be 100% leased by February, Oakmont president A. Richard Rider Jr. tells GlobeSt.com.The spec project is the second of a $38 million, four-building development in the south metro area's 77-acre Liberty Distribution Center.
Oakmont has the option to build two or three more buildings on the remaining 45 acres at Liberty Center or develop a single, 850,000-sf structure. The I-75 corridor is home to several regional distribution centers such as Ford, Pep Boys, Levi Strauss, Amazon.com, Toys R Us and Sunglass Hut.
