"They made me an offer I couldn't refuse," Garland tells GlobeSt. "They put together a very attractive package for me." The husband, father and grandfather says he began work for Trammell a couple of weeks ago after spending a couple of months relaxing with his family.

Working out of the San Jose office, Garland will develop investment sales opportunities on the West Coast for the firm's top institutional clients. Garland will work in cooperation with the company's national investment sales group in Dallas. Garland's client list now includes Macerich, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Metlife, Prudential Real Estate Investments, The Rouse Company, Government of Singapore, New York Life Insurance, The RREEF Funds, and Swig Investment Company. Founded in 1948, Trammell Crow employs approximately 7,000 workers in 170 offices in the United States and Canada.
