Computer Software Firm Relocates to Wilton

WILTON, CT-Respond Inc., a computer software firm, has relocated its corporate headquarters operations from Westport to almost 9,000 sf of space in Wilton, according to the Stamford-based office of brokerage firm Grubb & Ellis.

WILTON, CT-Grubb & Ellis reports that Respond Inc., has signed a sublease deal with Fabrique de Fer de Charleroi (USA) Inc. for 8,873 sf of space at 88 Danbury Rd. The deal, reported by Grubb & Ellis’ Thomas Weinstock and Robert Gold, who represented Fabrique de Fer de Charleroi in the sublease transaction, involves the relocation of Respond’s corporate headquarters offices from Westport.

Respond Inc., a firm that develops and supports software for complaint handling systems, is an affiliate of Initiative Software Applications based in the United Kingdom. Grubb & Ellis valued the two-and-a-half year sublease at $500,000.

Grubb & Ellis officials involved the deal note, “Even with the heated demand for space in this market, Charleroi had a challenging deadline to accomplish this sublease very quickly. But, by aggressively marketing the desirability of the location along the Route 7 corridor, as well as the space, we were able to get the job done.”
