The building is fully leased by space contractor, United Space Alliance, a joint venture of The Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp. United Space solely focuses on managing and conducting the NASA space shuttle program. Holliday's Mark Sixour has put together the 10-year, fixed-rate permanent loan for the building through GE Capital Business Asset Funding. The 15-year-old property consists of three buildings, located at 1045 Gemini in Clear Lake, a suburb in south Houston.
Boeing recently has expanded its lease in another Houston property, Armand Plaza. Boeing leases 46,600 sf near NASA headquarters in the south Houston suburb of Clear Lake. Armand Plaza houses Boeing's international space station headquarters.
