Wood is taking the slot formerly held by Pat Henry, the company's regional managing director. Henry is staying on and will focus on overall management. For Wood, it's a homecoming of sorts. He worked for Trammell Crow for six years, from 1987 to 1993.

According to the company, Trammell Crow expects to develop between one million and 1.5 million sf of industrial space during 2001.
