As executive director, Monroe will oversee the foundation's major fundraising activities, as well as its day-to-day operations. The foundation has an endowment of approximately $22 million. As senior vice president of development, Hance will oversee corporate development activities for the institute's spring and fall meetings, domestic and international conferences, sponsored publications, and ULI's showcase pavilions.
Monroe is the former president of Wilherst Developers in Treasure Island, FL, where he developed five profitable Eckerd Drugstore projects in a joint venture with The Sembler Company, St. Petersburg, FL. With 28 years of sales leadership experience, Hance is the former regional vice president of national sales for Wyndham International in New York City.
