The report cited Turner president Alec Fraser's remarks last week to the Georgia State University Real Estate Alumni Group. Fraser told the organization construction plans for the tower remain unchanged. CNN is a subsidiary of Turner Broadcasting System, which is a division of the newly-formed AOL Time Warner.
Turner Broadcasting announced last June it planned to sink $1.2 billion into a massive building program in Downtown around the CNN complex and in Midtown.
