Ken Hitchcock, AMLI vice president of residential construction, tells GlobeSt.com that AMLI Residential Construction serves as the developer with AMLI Residential Construction acting as general contractor. Clifford Wong and Associates has designed the project and Steven M. Rahn and Associates will be the landscape architect. Leasing will get under way soon, says an AMLI source. A few townhouses will be ready to occupy in the first quarter.

The New York State Common Retirement Fund will contribute 75% of the project's equity with AMLI contributing the balance. State Comptroller H. Carl McCall is the sole trustee of the $120-billion fund and feels the venture will be profitable for his members. The fund has participated in several other AMLI developments. Heitman Capital Management LLC has acted in an advisory capacity for the undertaking.
