The Society's Michigan chapter also elected Dennis Dillworth of Colliers International, Bingham Farms, as vice president; Ken Lipschutz of Brookside Communities, Birmingham, as secretary; and Dave Smies of Grand Real Estate, Grand Rapids as treasurer.
Mr. Hill, who has been an SIOR for eight years, is an industrial property specialist. He was elected during the Society's Annual Professional Conference in Denver and will serve during the Society's 60th anniversary year.
The society is a Washington D.C.-based international professional organization of 2,700 commercial real estate professionals, 1,950 of whom have earned the SIOR designation, which stands for "Specialist, Industrial and Office Real Estate." Society members with the SIOR designation are recertified every three years.
