InterBank Capital Partners Names New President

WASHINGTON, DC-InterBank Capital Partners is naming W. Thomas Fleming, III as its new president. Previously the firm’s executive vice president, he steps into his new position while Dr. Simon Hershon, who previously served as president, retains the title of chief executive officer. Fleming has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Before joining InterBank in 1999, he served in a variety of executive positions including president of the National Bank of Washington and chief financial officer for First Boston Capital Group and Evans Financial Corp. Fleming has extensive experience in credit policy, loan originations, loan underwriting, loan administration, problem loan workouts, as well as loan systems and loan accounting. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard and an MBA from George Washington University.
