The company has tapped Rob Link, a 15-year veteran of Denver's CB Richard Ellis as senior vice president and branch manager. Link, in turn, has quickly lured CB Richard Ellis brokers, Lindsay Brown and Mike Sponseller, to his team.

"Over the past year, Studley has implemented a judicious expansion program in select markets, including Dallas and Fort Lauderdale, through the careful appointment of top local real estate professionals," says Julien J. Studley, chairman and CEO.

Link, 45, an attorney by training, has completed more than 10 million sf of transactions during his tenure at CB. About a million sf had been helping about 30 different law firms in Denver and across the country with their office needs.

"I was very happy and very comfortable at CB," Link told GlobeSt.com. "I wasn't looking for another job. I had been approached a lot over the years, and this was the first time a move made sense for me. My departure from CB was very amicable."

By the end of the year, he hopes to set up two more teams. His first team-Brown, Sponseller and one more broker-will concentrate dealing with downtown firms. The next two teams, respectively, will focus along the US 36 corridor between Denver and Boulder and the southeast corridor from the Denver Tech Center area all the way to Colorado Springs. Down the road, he plans to create an industrial team.
