$160-Mil Midtown Square Now Under Construction in Troy

TROY, MI-Construction begins on a retail project that is one of state's highest priorities under its brownfield redevelopment program. Grand/Sakwa of Farmington Hills, MI is building the project.

TROY, MI-A major retail development at Maple and Coolidge roads here, being built by Grand/Sakwa of Farmington Hills, MI and called Midtown Square, is now under construction. The project, which includes a Home Depot, will cost about $160 million.

Troy city officials said the project makes up more than 13 percent of the state’s $1.2 billion of investment generated by Brownfield Redevelopment Authorities, according to figures recently released by the Michigan Department of Industry and Consumer Affairs.
