With Cousins since 1979, Charlesworth moves up to executive vice president and chief investment officer status from senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of the company. Barrett, with the firm since 1992 and senior vice president/finance since 1997, becomes senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Bell, a board member since August 2000, will be forging corporate alliances and handling strategic planning for the REIT. He is a special limited partner with New York-based Forstmann Little & Co. and is the former chairman/CEO of Young & Rubicam Inc. in New York.
Stone, a lawyer, is president/CEO of the Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District; served as counsel to Texas Gov. Bill Clements; and chaired the Texas Finance Commission.
