High-Tech Firms Lease 122,000 SF at Woodland Park

TYSON'S CORNER, VA-Portal Software and Juniper Networks are the two latest tenants leasing space in Woodland Park. Portal is taking 73,120 sf in Plaza Ridge II and Juniper has signed for 73,120 sf in Plaza Ridge I.

TYSON’S CORNER, VA-A premier corporate office park on the Dulles Toll Road in Herndon, VA has two new tenants. Portal Software is leasing 73,120 sf in Plaza Ridge II, which will open this month. Juniper Networks Inc. will occupy 48,280 sf in Plaza Ridge I, which opened December 2000. The Technology Group of CB Richard Ellis Inc brokered the Portal Software deal while Grubb & Ellis of Metropolitan Washington, DC arranged the Juniper lease.

Both properties have about 158,000 sf of class A office space. Plaza Ridge I and II are the latest buildings to be completed in Woodland Park, a 170-acre class A office campus less than two miles from Washington Dulles International Airport. Plaza Ridge I lists about 109,000 sf remaining for lease; Plaza Ridge II has approximately 82,000 sf available.

Owned by the Tishman Speyer/Travelers Group real estate venture, Woodland Park is approved for 4.8 million sf of class A office space. The campus also includes a 150-room Embassy Suites Hotel, 400-multifamily apartment units and a child learning facility. Approximately one million sf of office space has already been developed. Another 2.3 million sf remains available for development at Woodland.
