Urban Renewal Panel Discussion Slated for Feb. 28

ELMSFORD-The Westchester Municipal Planning Federation and the Westchester County Department of Planning will host a panel discussion titled Urban Renewal/Redevelopment Techniques: Back to the Future? on Feb. 28.

ELMSFORD-A panel discussion focused on current urban renewal projects in the Westchester, Rockland and Fairfield county area will be held at the Hampton Inn hotel in Elmsford. Sponsored by the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation and the Westchester County Department of Planning, the Feb. 28 event will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and feature a panel consisting of a land use attorney, planning officials and a developer.

The panel includes: Peter Wise, AICP, Esq., of the White Plains-based law firm DelBello, Donnellan, Tartaglia, Weingarten, Wise & Wiederkehr; Ed Steinberg, AICP, former urban renewal director for White Plains and Stamford; Constance Post, AICP, commissioner of planning for the Mount Vernon and Martin Ginsburg, president of GDC, a private development firm based in Hawthorne.
