Mike Boyd of Boyd Page has represented Boise Cascade Corp. in the deal. Located at 700 Reed Rd. in the Sugar Land Business Park, the facility is part of a 136-acre tract owned and under development by Pelec Development LP.
Boise Cascade Corp. is a Boise, Idaho-based distributor for office products and building materials and manufactures wood and paper products. Boise Cascade Corp. previously had used a site at 13246 Murphy Rd. in Stafford as its distribution point. The company plans to move into its new facility in the third quarter. Boise Cascade Corp. plans to build an 8,000-sf office building on the newly leased property.
John Pogue has represented Pelec Development LP. Last year, Pelec had bought the property, developed by Reed Tool Co., from Baker Hughes.
