Ronald N. Haynes Jr. has acquired one of the last big chunks of raw land along Garland's Pleasant Valley Road, says Leonard L. Fitzgerald III, a Henry S. Miller Commercial broker. Fitzgerald had represented seller Dr. William H. Wisner, who had owned the property at 1534 Pleasant Valley Rd. for more than 20 years. According to Fitzgerald, the tract is ticketed for residential development.
Henry S. Miller Commercial's Ross Love has negotiated the sale on Haynes' behalf. The property is positioned near the intersection of the George W. Bush Turnpike, in a rapidly developing commercial and residential corridor. Land in that section of the Dallas suburb has been bringing upward of $19,500 per acre, sometimes fetching as much as $27,000 per acre.
