Lincicome, Degenhardt Swap Top Positions at Ellerbe Becket

MINNEAPOLIS-Change at the top will shift the focus to enhancing the architecture firm's image for creativity. The firm is known for expertise in hospitals and ambulatory clinics, sports stadiums and arenas.

MINNEAPOLIS-Rick Lincicome has been named chief executive officer of Ellerbe Becket, the Minneapolis-based architecture firm, essentially swapping jobs with Robert Degenhardt, who replaces Lincicome as president. Ellerbe provides integrated architecture, engineeringand construction services and has more than 800 employees.

Lincicome, who lives in Washington, DC, has been with Ellerbe Becket for more than 20 years. He has been president since 1998, and was head of architecture and of the firm’s Washington, DC and New York offices before that. A graduate of the University of Illinois architecture school, Lincicome later taught architecture there. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Greater Washington, DC Board of Trade.

Lincicome will focus on improving the firm’s reputation among clients for “high design and high value.”
