The property, which stands at 3861-3999 Martin Luther King Blvd., is comprised of 22 buildings. It had a 100% occupancy level at the time of sale, reflecting the region's strong demand for rental housing.

The buyer, Torrance-based Southern California Properties, was represented by Arlan Murata of Grubb & Ellis' Anaheim office. Jerry Gillis, also of the Anaheim office, represented seller Contemporary Partners.

Contemporary Partners is a private family trust based in LA.
