Toups had worked for nine years as a senior professional at the Galleria offices for Grubb & Ellis' Industrial Group. Last year, he had taken a a seven-month sabbatical during which time he had restarted his former business, DT Properties Inc. Toups had plied his trade for seven years at DT Properties before his first stint with Grubb & Ellis, but now he's back. "I really missed the interaction and synergy of being associated with some of the top brokers in our profession," Toups told GlobeSt.com. "I also missed the referral system at Grubb & Ellis, and generally playing in the big leagues."
