BOMA International Initiates New Web Portal

WASHINGTON, DC – A new e-commerce portal is on the scene. On Friday, Jan. 26, the Building Owners and Managers Association International, a commercial real estate advocacy group, in collaboration with participating companies BuildingsNet Inc., ManageStar.com and PropertyManagerz.com, announced the launch of an e-commerce portal at http://www.boma.org/portal . This portal is designed for professionals in or associated with the commercial real estate industry.

It will first service the needs of property owners and managers, according to information released by BOMA. Eventually the portal will include links to providers who service the construction and financing industries. Besides providing access to products and services, the portal will include a bulletin board for comments and information, a real-time chat room, profiles on participating companies, frequently asked questions and links to articles and information about e-commerce.
