CB Richard Ellis Group Brokers Mexican Golf Course Sale for $10 Mil

CARLSBAD-CB Richard Ellis negotiates $10 million sale of a golf course near the Mexican resort of Cancun.

CARLSBAD-Units of CB Richard Ellis that specialize in golf and resort properties and sales in Mexico have negotiated the $10 million sale of a golf course near the Mexican resort of Cancun.

CB Richard Ellis’ Carlsbad-based Golf and Resort Properties Group and Mexico Properties Group announced today that Club de Golf Playacar, an 18-hole championship golf course adjacent to Playa del Carmen, QuintanaRoo in Mexico, has sold for $10 million to Palace Resorts, a Cancun-based hotel company.

Club de Golf Playacar was previously owned by Grupo Sidek Situr and designed by renowned architect Robert Von Hagge. It is considered one of the finest golf courses in the Caribbean, and one of only three 18-hole golf courses in the entire market.
