Cushman & Wakefield Joins With Struxicon to Develop Interior Build-out Platform

NEW YORK CITY-Cushman & Wakefield, the real estate services firm based here, has joined with Struxicon, Irvine, CA, a construction management and technology platform firm, to create a suite of project management tools to plan, organize, and manage the interior construction of buildings. The new tools, to be known as Struxicon Interiors, will involve C&W Project Management Group and its Business Integration Group. The platform will be designed to expedite decision making through Web-based bidding, reports, schedules, cost summaries and architectural drawings.

The platform is intended to facilitate communication among a broad range of professionals involved in a project including owners, tenants, developers as well as general contractors, architects, engineers and materials suppliers. Struxicon’s technology targets the commercial industrial, retail, tenant improvement and infrastructure sectors of the real estate industry. Terms of the agreement were not revealed.
