HOUSTON-In its annual office market overview, Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. sums up the Houston office market as strong and growing. Net absorption in year 2000 was the strongest it has been since 1997, reaching 4.1 million sf, according to the report.

Of the 4.1 million sf, about 35% had been in class-A office space, 26.3% in class B and38.6% in class C.
