Two of the sales topped $4 million. A 15,120-sf retail property in Palm Beach, FL where a Walgreens Drugstore holds a long-term lease sold for $4,126,870 to a West Virginia investor, according to Syndicated Equities president Richard Kaplan. In north suburban Grayslake, another 15,120-sf retail property with Walgreens as a long-term tenant was sold for $4,091,000 sale to a Chicago investor.
However, a New Bedford, MA banking facility with Sovereign Bank as a long-term tenant sold for $2,039,000 -- $509.75 per sf. A Maryland investor bought the property.
Two of the sales were in St. Petersburg, FL. A 10,920-sf store with Eckerds Drugstore as a long-term tenant sold for $3,515,337 to a New York investor. A 13,000-sf retail property leased to Walgreens Drugstore sold for $2.4 million to a local investor. Also in Florida, a 10,920-sf retail store leased to Eckerds Drugstore was sold for $2.05 million to a Florida investor.
Meanwhile, an 11,000-sf retail store in Florence, KY leased to CVS Drugstore was sold for $3,338,569 to a Florida investor.
