ATS is taking 30,000 sf for 10 years at an estimated aggregate rent of $7 million in the 900 Building. The locally based firm will occupy two-thirds of the seventh floor. The company's 120 employees expect to move in during the second quarter.
Average asking Downtown class A rents are $24.20 per sf, according to CB Richard Ellis Inc. Quoted midtown rents are $18.94 per sf.
The 900 Building has 18,000 sf available on the seventh floor; 45,000 sf on the eighth floor; and 60,000 sf of retail on the ground level. Bank of America is leasing about 80% of the total rentable space.
A consortium of banks created ATS in 1978. Fidelity Investments bought the firm in 1996 as its venture capital arm and made it a part of Fidelity Capital.
