Becks Fine-tuning Lakeside Restaurant Details for the Woodlands, Sugar Land

HOUSTON-Area restaurateur Becks Prime is at the drawing boards for eateries in the Woodlands and Sugar Land. Known for its casual outdoor dining, the chain has acquired a little more than three acres total for lakeside restaurants.

HOUSTON-Becks Prime, a Houston-based casual dining restaurant chain famous for outdoor dining, plans to build two more eateries in the region. Lakeside venues are ticketed for the village of Grogan’s Mill in the Woodlands, a northern suburb of Houston, and Sugar Land, a southern suburb. Becks has just purchased land on 1822 Texas 6, Win Campbell, Becks’ CEO and general counsel, tells GlobeSt.com.

The Woodlands 1.7-acre site will house a 2,800-sf restaurant plus decks and terraces, Campbell says. The Sugar Land project will be located on 1.08 acres and be about the same size. Architect Mark Verret will design the projects, with S & A Construction serving as general contractor.
