Dutchess County EDC Names New Officers for 2001

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY-The Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation reported that the agency has elected its officers for 2001, including its chairman, local attorney Al Roberts. The election announcement came at its annual meeting.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY-Fresh off a highly successful year that included IBM’s planned $3 billion semiconductor chip fabrication plant in Fishkill, the Dutchess County Economic Development Corp., elected new officers to lead the organization through 2001.

Elected at the Duthcess County Economic Development Corp.’s Annual Meeting were: Chairman Al Roberts, Esq., a partner in the law firm Vergilis, Stenger, Roberts & Pergament; Vice Chairman Ted Petrillo, president of the development firm Westage Corp.; Second Vice Chairman Glenn Carey, vice president of business systems for Premier National Bank; Treasurer Paul Engels, president and chief executive officer of Riverside Bank; Secretary Richard Henley, executive vice president and treasurer for Vassar Brothers Hospital and Assistant Treasurer Ann Davis, director of Marist College’s Bureau of Economic Research.
