Stoops will be general manager, the same position she most recently held at the Anaheim South Candlewood Suites. Previously, she was director of sales for the hotel, and last November was named the company's western region general manager rookie of the year. Stoops worked for Marriott for 10 years in the Orange County area prior to joining Candlewood.
Bell, who was director of sales for the Irvine East Candlewood Suites will keep the same position at her new location. Her previous sales experience includes positions with Holiday Inn and Country Inn and Suites.
Named to be the new facility's assistant general manager, Matic has been lead guest services representative at the Anaheim South Candlewood Suites, where he was responsible for front office management and accounts receivables.
Located at 2600 S. Redhill Ave. at the corner of Red Hill Avenue and Barranca Parkway, the new hotel has 122 suites in all consisting of 98 studios and 24 one-bedroom units. This is the fourth Candlewood Suites facility built in the Orange County area.
