Conroy has completed the first building, a 100,000 sf structure on Dan Road. A similar sized building nearby is nearing completion. Conroy is also working on a third 104,000 sf building in Stoughton.
Thomas Powers, a director of Cushman & Wakefield, a Boston-based commercial real estate services company, did not return calls by presstime, but he is quoted as saying, "Overall things are a bit more stable in the south area because there's a lack of financially troubled high-tech and Internet-related companies unlike other regions." Powers also reportedly adds that it's cheaper to lease space south of Boston than in Lexington or Waltham.
