The LFG Group LLC will open 12 Cinnabon's in the DFW region while LaTrelle's Management Corp. will add six to the Austin-San Antonio corridor. None of the sites have been determined, D'Wayne Tanner, Cinnabon's vice president of new business development, told GlobeSt.com. LFG also is a franchise partner in 19 Taco Bell units in the metroplex.

To date, there are four Cinnabons in the DFW region and two each in Austin and San Antonio. The DFW stores are located at Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, Towne East Mall in Mesquite, Parks Mall in Arlington and Grapevine Mills, which is the only one of the lot that's not company-owned. The locations, primarily in malls and airports, range from 800 sf to 1,500 sf. Sometimes, says Tanner, it can be wait for space because Cinnabon's are located in such high-traffic areas.

The pacts are part of a 47-store announcement by Cinnabon, which also has signed franchise openings in California, Connecticut and Rhode Island plus a contract with Morrison Management for 20 hospital locations and the District of Columbia.
